This is a replacement for one that disintegrated. An excellent piece of engineering. Works well.
I wanted to be able to cool drinks in general : wine, fizzy water etc - without diluting them. I once had some little plastic ones with a gel inside but was trying to eliminate the use of plastic for environmental reasons. The whiskey stones are perfect.
